My approach
Every relationship begins with the one we have with ourselves. The way we speak to ourselves, navigate conflict, and seek connection is shaped by our experiences and by the relationships that first taught us what it meant to love, belong, and feel safe.
Those early patterns influence how we show up with the people we care about most—but they aren't fixed. Healthy relationships aren't built on perfection, but on awareness, honesty, compassion, and the willingness to repair. Sometimes, that means gently unlearning familiar ways of relating so we can create new ones.
Drawing from relational psychology, attachment theory, mindfulness, and evidence-based approaches to communication and behavior change, our work together combines deeper emotional insight with practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change—in your relationships and in the relationship you have with yourself.

What you might be wondering
While there can be overlap, relationship coaching and therapy serve different purposes. Therapy often focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions or psychological distress. My work is centered on helping you better understand yourself, your relationship patterns, and the ways you connect with others. Drawing from evidence-based approaches to relationships, communication, and behavior change, we work together to build greater awareness, strengthen communication, navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change in the way you relate—to yourself and to others.
The initial consultation is a 30-minute conversation where we get to know each other. We'll explore what's bringing you here, what you're hoping to change, and whether we're the right fit to work together. If it feels like a good match, we'll discuss the type of support that best meets your needs.
Not at all. Many people come to work on their relationship with themselves—whether they're navigating dating, heartbreak, attachment patterns, boundaries, life transitions, or simply wanting to relate to themselves and others in healthier ways. Couples are welcome, but you don't need to be in a relationship to benefit from this work.
That's completely okay. It's common for partners to have different levels of comfort or readiness. We can talk through your situation during the initial consultation and explore the best place to begin—whether that's together or with individual support.
Absolutely. I welcome individuals and couples of all sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, and family constellations. My goal is to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and supported as your whole self.
No. You're welcome to book individual sessions. That said, meaningful change often takes time, which is why I typically recommend working together consistently over several months. The three-month support package provides space to build momentum, practice new ways of relating, and create lasting change.
Support should meet you where you are. If you find yourself needing additional guidance, we can explore increasing the frequency of our sessions or transitioning to a more intensive level of support for a period of time.
Yes. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish, and you're welcome to choose the language that feels most natural and comfortable for you.
Yes. All sessions are held online via secure video, allowing us to work together wherever you're located. All you need is a quiet, private space and a reliable internet connection.
I do not accept insurance directly. However, if your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are also accepted if eligible.
Testimonials
Ever since I started seeing Núria, my mental health and emotional wellbeing have improved. She sees, listens to, and understands me. She leads her work with empathy and kindness, and always shows up authentically and is fully present. It’s these qualities that have made me feel safe and trust her guidance. Not to mention that she also is just a cool person. I’m so grateful for her.

Working with Núria has truly been a transformative experience over the past few years. I’ve worked with other therapists before, but Núria stands out. She has helped me reframe anxious thoughts and manage stress in ways that feel practical and attainable. Her approach is compassionate, insightful, and empowering, and I’m so grateful for the progress I’ve made with her guidance.
Melanie P. NYC
Working with Núria has been one of the most impactful things we’ve done for our relationship. We came in feeling stuck in the same arguments, unsure how to communicate without shutting down or escalating. She helped us understand the patterns underneath our reactions and gave us practical tools we could use immediately. Over time, we’ve rebuilt trust, reconnected emotionally, and created a much clearer sense of direction together. Our relationship feels steadier, kinder, and more aligned.
